    1. If competitive pistol shooting is not dead, it plays good game of lying doggo. BTW, I'd substitute "may but its unlikely" for "will".

    2. Even if "will", just .22s.

I'd have said Great Britain rather then the UK as one can still shoot in NI.

    And indeed PPW.
Apparently some moderators take themselves very, very seriously, and cannot abide posts such as:

Some comments are allegedly "very very nasty and uncalled for."

the worst thing holding back the UK shooting sports is the national attitude of the british people......

...if as much effort was put into getting political, and shaking up the representive body, as was put into moaning about the past, there would be serious progress made.

the antipodeans dont call us 'whinging poms' for nothing. sorry if this comes across as harsh.

the handgun ban was wrong, plainly unjustified in application, pistol shooters were thrown to the dogs to appease the collective blind public out-rage and to distract from the real issue of WHY he did it, not just BECAUSE he owned a handgun.
and theres a lot of folk, both public and political who can now see this.

I'm a very keen hand-gun shooter, and I want to shoot IPSC in the UK alongside my cap + ball BP. and I will continue to push for this. its my right.

this is a democracy, you DO have a voice and a say on how you want to live.......

Let us be thankful we have an occupation to fill. Work hard, increase production, prevent accidents and be happy.
Let us be thankful we have commerce. Buy more. Buy more now. Buy. And be happy.

Just out of idle interest, if the only thing you want do is punch holes in paper, why would you need anything more than a .22?

Be that as it may, I have no problem with citizens of good character owning any sort of smallarm, for whatever reason that does not imperil public safety.

Some people like having the skill of punching holes in paper from a very great distance.

Granted, but that can be dealt with by reducing the size of the targets, nicht wahr? Ok that only goes to a certain range, eventually the bull would be smaller than the projectile.
