In fact "The President of the Federal Republic of Germany" (Bundespräsident) would be correct - the Chancellor (Bundeskanzlerin) is actually number 3 in the order of precedence, with the President of the Bundestag (Präsident des Deutschen Bundestages) coming 2nd. Viel Spaβ!

Being as the current President is in pretty deep shit and nobody knows who the PdDB is you'd probably be on safer ground by toasting Angie Merkel. Or you could make a joke about the current president and toast Konrad Adenauer instead - 1st Chancellor of the BRD - a safe bet and not likely to upset anyone or simply and least controversial "Our friends from the Bundesheer". Anything pre-1949 probably wouldn't go down very well.
