It would be funny if not a parody of religious sickness in the world.

Blair a grinning, deceitful, deluded ship jumping catholic...one more jump into another blind abyss why not? Williams a crazed ship jumping nut job, having unrolled his irrational thinking out for the last time, wants to hand his African run faith to another idiot so he can concentrate on his homosexual life behind closed doors.

Do you really believe all that, if so, based on what?

    Enjoy:

"As we moved slowly through the outskirts of the town we passed row after row of little grey slum houses running at right angles to the embankment. At the back of one of the houses a young woman was kneeling on the stones, poking a stick up the leaden waste-pipe which ran from the sink inside and which I suppose was blocked. I had time to see everything about her - her sacking apron, her clumsy clogs, her arms reddened by the cold. She looked up as the train passed, and I was almost near enough to catch her eye." Orwell, The Road to Wigan Pier

That made me laugh. I think you are as mad as a wasp, but I did find it funny.

There are lots of things that we cannot directly sense which we have evidence for. God is not one of them.
Apologies, I clicked the 'like button' when I meant the quote button. It's been a while since I've been here.

But I'd like to comment on the 'visible light' and 'audible sound', because these things don't exist outside of a conceptual mind. Light is really a wavelength of electromagnetic radiation. Once these waves of electromagnetic radiation enters an eye with the correct nervous system behind it, light is created in mind.

The same is true for 'audible sound'; sound is a mechanical wave that is an oscillation of pressure, and when it hits an ear drum with the correct nervous system behind it, sound is created in the mind.

Hence the old Buddhist koan about "If a man says something in a forest and a woman isn't around to hear him, is he still wrong?"

If you're interested in the nature of reality, take a look at what Buddhism has to say on the subject; it's pretty interesting stuff.

    Problem in your thinking...

Remove all humans from the universe and the stuff that causes light and sound is still there mate...sorry.

Our physical presence is not required anywhere in the universe except here on this tiny speck of dust called Earth. We have evolved to smell, hear, see and feel things that existed before us... It says nothing of our importance... we simply do not matter.
