if you think 35 is the bee's knees' don't be too sure. ive been in 21-9years, 28-8 years and 35- 2 years. got long marston for a year for good measre as well. first thing i heard when i arrived in 35 was that it was shit. asked why took me ages to find a decent answer. mostly passage of info. as for down town. actually got refused a beer at a german bar downtown. novely for me after being in germany for so long and being a old git. as for 28. well thats ok, but a bit quieter since 35 moved to paderborn. but if your a pad your wife might not like it as its clicky as hell. avoid 45 fd sp unless you want to be constantly on tour. as for 21 did that both at neinburg and osna. as 21 are moving back to uk would also avoid there till they have moved. i have so far managed to avoid both hohne and tidworth so consider myself lucky. but if you have been there hope you enjoyed it. found reports coming out of both places to be mixed. mostly for the negitive though. but i suppose its what you make it. cant really comment on uk regt's other than you get to go home at weekends, so leave that to others.

if nothing else always remember the grass always looks greener on the other side until you get there and look back.

Have heard on the grapevine since I left 26 has gone seriously downhill but when I got there (just as the lads were getting back from Canada) until after the Kosovo tour the place was great
As some-ones already said its what you make the place and the boys at the time made that place! (having 'The Dome' as OC wasn't bad either!)

By far the worst place on the planet must be 170 Infra Sp Engr Gp (title gives it away!) Sure its great if your a Lance Staffy but as a junior its w**k!
