Royal Engineers Association Bomb Disposal Branch

    Guys...

A friend has been tasked with running the REA BD Branch Website and needs input/ideas from everyone and also wants to plug the BD Branch for new Members... Please read this and place comments below (Chimera, Good, Bad can we possibly have this stickied? Many Thanks in advance if agreed).

Well i have been asked to pick up the poisoned chalice, never did learn my lesson not to volunteer and i would like your opinions and views, no big words please i get easily confused. As well as running the 33 msn site i have taken on the Branch website work to begin shortly http://www.army.mod.uk/royalengineer...eabd/index.htm
and i want some ideas as to what pepole want to see, i dont want to see it WW11 or now orientated i want something for everybody.
Also if my facts are right im shocked that there are only 300 members in the branch, 80 of which are WW11.
vets. Considering there are 220 on 33msn site, 65 on 58 msn site and all on this site numbers are low, so whats the problems what do we need to address how do we get people to join. Over to you folks give me a break and help me out please

The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.

2 sites that tell you how to apply for certain badges and medals. Some are commemorative and therefore not free, but worthwhile not the less.
It was not until I looked at this site that I knew of the BFG medal, for anyone who served in Germany from 1945-1989. Also the Hors De Combat, for anyone who has been injured during service, be it physical or mental.
