    The Catterick school of dancing..!!!!

I remember it so well. Spent virtually every fri and sat night there for a yr and left with a different slapper every week. Never had any trouble with the other units in the area as a best mate was a full screw in the Green Howards and played rugby for Darlo and knew every bouncer for miles and his Infantry gang treated me as one of their own.

    Those good ole days

Post inter squadron boxing 1981 About 12 boxers from all 3 Squadron teams walking back from scabs through Colburn and getting jumped by 2 civvies. Sure they knew that jam sandwich was just coming round the corner. Oh, and winning Mr Beachwear wearing a pair of speedo's and flip flops in 1984.

What a magical place. It was so horrible it was fantastic. Remember shaggin a bird up against the wall outside in 85 when someone in a car turned the lights on, only to illuminate about half a dozen other blokes all at it. Copped of one night with a munter who had come up in a bus from Middlesborough with about 20 of her ugly mates. Woke up on the Sunday morning back in Middlesborough with no money and no clue as to how to get back to Catterick. I kind of remember it seemed to be a really good idea when I was sat in the bus with 20 slappers, p***ed out of my head. Scabs, loved the way your feet got glued to the floor if you stood still too long.

What memories! Was at DKMH 93-94 working in med stores. Never had to worry about the hospital running out of diamorphine or ketamine as there were plentiful supplies available in Scabs. Happy days!

Seems strange how somewhere so shockingly bad can be awesome. Shit beer, ugly birds, sticky carpets and the possibility of getting your head stoved in. Nice chips in Yorkshire pudding though. Superb.

Have only been out in catterick once, it was 2002, vague memories of a kind of modernish building, big bald bouncer, but no stairs, is this The Scorpian? . Was on ex and staying at whinny hill if memory serves me right it was down the hill past a few roundabouts and you were there, 15 mins walk to get there. The place was an utter rip off £5.10 for a warm flat strongbow and a pint of coke and the prices went up after midnight.

Anyone able to confirm if this was the scorpian or what club this was?

    Regards

(p.s I was one of a bunch of uotc cadets when we went there, we were all thinking that we were going to get filled in, probably should have anyway)
