I took it to mean immediate action, but it could be anything?

I had thought that but couldn't see why a Tfc would come into their own when dealing with it.

Something to do with YofS & Tfc being crypto ninjas thereby having the tools to become IA gurus - as I understand it.

How much of the FofS and YofS courses overlap? (in other words, how much trade training will the combined supervisor miss out on because we all know that the Army's not going to pay for three year long courses that cover all of FofS and YofS).

Correct and no wah, how many DE officers have a grounding in this or any of the LE fraternity toolset? None that I know, some may have a little knowledge but no depth.

The 2 courses overlap a little on the practical side such as RADCON, but on little else. The combined supervisor would miss out on lots of training and would no longer bea SME in their specialist field IMHO.

That's what I thought. I suspect a newly minted 'Supervisor Combined' would end up like Techs and Operators are now - coming out of the factory with a basic grounding of how things work but with a lot of extra courses to do before they actually understand the equipment used by their new unit.
