Oh I don't know Guru, I did expend a fair bit of effort to help out for Blandford but it came to nothing. Or did you have something wider to whine about?

    Royal Signals crap at comms?
This is merely the way of the world. Int corps lack intelligence, REME keep on breaking things, the last dentist I went to had teeth like a good infantry section, the infantry are very infantile, RMP are forever getting nicked (although in their defence, usually by SIB - who have to backstab for career advancement).
I however am a peerless example of a tradesman and not bitter, twisted and passed over in any way...

You Sir are a genius, but I suspect no one else will think so. Passed over is only something for those who still think they are still up for consideration.

I was being flippant earlier, I do that a lot, if you haven't noticed you needed a kicking, I've been doing it for 8 years.

I asked what was needed some years ago, some expressed an interest, I spent an awful lot of effort guru in trying to get decent 3G and broadband coverage in Blandford, the response was minimal. Without that interest companies look elsewhere, as happened here.

Don't gob off when you couldn't be arsed, you got what you deserved, nothing.

Probably not gurus personally, but Blandford had the opportunity to have their case made. You wonder why you live in the dark ages. You almost invite it. I'm onside, what must everyone else think?

Hi CONCO, - My name is John Maxwell and I work for a company called Media Force UK, we install high speed symmetrical services into camps all over the UK and Blandford is next on my list - can you set up the meeting? I am ex Royal Signals 88-98 and know Blandford well so I'd like to get up there and get you guys online. We focus on 'wired' blocks, fibre backbone and then a Gigabit backhaul, resulting in speeds up to 2/10/20Mbps to your room - that's symmetrical too. Drop me an email to max@mediaforceuk.com and let's get Blandford sorted out!

    cheers, - Max.

    GradadsMOB,
Excuse the late response, but I just picked your question up today when the thread was "revived"!!
You are correct, I believe it is the Copeland Coat of Arms, applicable to my neck of the woods, the "delightful" Georgian town of Whitehaven.
