Why do you think that the tail surfaces on the F22 and F35 lean away from the 90 position? Do you think this is just a design fashion, to match the the latest Haute Couture fashions in Paris?

Think about it for a minute, Gravelbelly, if you are able. What is the point in spending $billions in ensuring that no surface on your wonder-fighter/bomber lies at 90 degrees to another surface - with all the aerodynamic and structural compromises you have to make to allow for this - and then strapping an 'X'-form munition under its wing??

The prospect is more than barmy, it is possibly criminal (under the misuse of public funds act).

You keep saying this. You need to cite, as this must be the best kept secret in the Aviation industry.

So, "Who" has a team, and what are they building?

If you cannot provide references, I call BULLSHIT, and you need to go back onto your medication

    Back up plan my arse.

They will simply go over to the concept which has been put about and used to limited effect so far, a Landing Pad Helicopter ship just like they were told to adopt back in the 50's but refused to accept on a wide enough scale.

The lack of fast jets hasn't seemed to have degraded ground attack capability with Apache proving it can be ship borne.

Well, if you think that using rebuild Harriers is a retrograde step, then what the f*** is a squadron of Apaches going to be like?

WAH64 is not required to provide air defence and is a state of the art CAS platform.

So which Aerospace/Engineering/Design Company or Team is behind the NG Harrier you keep sounding off about? Come on name names I'm dying to know.
