It is connected to this near U-turn last year, when the Harrier was nearly brought back int action (with a quick apology to the Yanks). But I suppose you did not know about that either. However, it was pointed out that what the UK really needed was new Harriers, not 30-year old Harriers.

    Need to know, my boy....

Nothing in that article points to new build Harriers. Just speculation that the Govenment may have brought the Ark and some of JFH out of storage for Libya. Didn't happen.

So, one more time: tell us more about the new build Harrier team at Bristol...

    No?

    Thought not.

It exists only in your imagination.
Tip: using the NTK tactic on this forum when you cannot back up your claims, instantly identifies you as a bullshitter.

Well, busting throught the troll-o-sphere, if this morning's headlines are to be believed, it's 'B'... on the justification that it gets us a capability into service three years earlier. No cognition of the fact that that three years limits the next 30, or of the fact that the money saved will have to be spunked on bespoke MASC, etc.

What a stupid, stupid fucking waste of an opportunity.

Ah, but balancing the books... why do we always save a penny and spend a fucking pound?

[And then wonder why there's a deficit...???]
