Discuss UK Frigate Carried Only Four AA Missiles to Libya in Royal Navy on The Army Rumour Service; Well, it sounds like it was more of a punishment frankly. Or perhaps his inner green foulie was showing through....

Did you have blokes in the back using their body weight to make the vehicle 'sway' in a realistic fashion? And the Skipper hanging out of hte sunroof.

No they won't! That lot never learn any lessons because it's not their arses on the line.
As a footnote, a couple of rounds of 84mm from a Carl Gustav almost sank an Argie covette a few years ago during that bit of unpleasantness! An oppo of mine was the Number One on it that fired them.

And you will be happy to know that all our ships are festooned with GPMG's, MK44 miniguns, 25/30mm Cannons and L85's in case there are any nasty men with Carl Gustavs.
If Iraq was such a threat to everyones national security why did only take two f**kin weeks to take over the whole country!

Not forgetting the Merlin or Lynx, carrying HMG/.50/GPMG etc to add to the mix...

Way lower tech than that - picture up to 6 'squads' of three people (OOW, RO and CO) double timing around an indoor parade square, trying (not very well) to avoid crashing into each other when someone barks out coded manouevre orders - hysterical

I think doing it via the plastic swans on Southseas canoe lake would have been a major realism inject...

No more stupid than the chairs marking out a Wessex helicopter for learning how to get in and out of one.

Although making wokka wokka noises lead to us running round the camp reassembling the "helicopter" in various places till we took it seriously.
This of course failed to happen

On a Hot morning in cyprus I found the meaning of anger. Fortunataly I was comftably numb.
The RSM and various other NCO's seemed very agitated.
maybe they should look into counselling?
