RAF doing longer than 4 months?
Op Karachi may have to be put in place.

Now while the RAFP might man the MEP along with USMC et al, the actual exterior bit of protecting Bastion, better known as a FO big ops box called BELLEAU WOOD, is patrolled by the USMC and the RAF Regiment FP Wg. Its not that sexy but it needs to be done, especially when you're droning in on your Tri* low and slow with 200 odd souls on board.
They've had their fatalities too.
Perhaps it's time we sorted out the Army's PR to match the RAF's rather than moaning about which Welsh cavalry regiment's going to disappear.
Pity about Nigger though - I never did trust that McGoohan bloke. The stopped clock of The Belfast Telegraph seems to indicate the
time
Of the explosion - or was that last week's? Difficult to keep
track:
Everything's a bit askew, like the twisted pickets of the
security gate, the wreaths,
That approximate the spot where I'm told the night patrol
went through.

If the Army PR matched the RAF PR machine, we would not have room for any other posts on here, RSS would go into melt down and sooner than we knew it it would be posts about people doing their job.
As to the Welsh Cavalry, now there is a tale of grit against adversity, Max Boyce is penning a new song as we speak. He is, however, finding it difficult to find words that rhyme with Cavalry.
Any suggestions?Dry books of tactics are beneath the notice of a man of genius, and it is a known fact that every British officer is inspired with a perfect knowledge of his duty, the moment he gets his commission; and if it were not, it would be sufficiently acquired in conversaziones at the main-guard or the grand sutler's.
