There was me thinking the proper military term was respirator. Only civilians call them gas masks.

    Never mind!

Did anyone check the cannisters to see if he'd removed the insides like we used to with the S6?

    Ooops!

Looks like there's one volunteer at least for the Fukushima Marathon.

So, a TA battalion or nine Regular Guards battalions? Not a difficult choice, then (especially as we don't have nine Regular Guards battalions).

I'm sorry, but he's just an attention whore - "Look at me, I'm running in a gas mask!!!"

I would however be impressed if he did it wearing the full NBC suit, helmet, CEFO and carrying a weapon as well.

...after being out on an FTX for two weeks first.

In the career of glory one gains many things; the gout and medals, a pension and rheumatism....all of these fatigues experienced in your youth, you pay for when you grow old. Because one has suffered in years gone by, it is necessary to suffer more, which does not seem exactly fair.

The Navy, not to be outdone next year, will all do it in gimp-masks.

There is a record for this? So what about a gas mask and a hat? A gas mask and an umbrella? Gas mask and 3/4 length shorts? Gas mask and condom, whilst erect?

    Where are all these records?

Well it might be great for running in but it looks like it might be a little difficult to shoot in.
