People aren't moaning because the RAF Regt have done something, just because of the increasingly sensationalist RAF PR machine. It seems like they've been trained by the Daily Mail school of journalism.

The media machine does seem to work in overdrive, but the blokes on the ground have no control over that, that would probably be Air Marshal, Fathersome- Smithe or some other posh twat.

Nope, no time for the slagging matches that go on. I know they've got a role that the Army doesn't fill, and if they weren't needed then I'm sure someone with a much bigger pay packet than me would've cut them by now.

I'm not slating them at all, i'm ex RAF Regt myself and dam proud of the fact, I just think the PR machine doesn't always do the lads a favour, when all they want to do is crack on.
