It might be worth your while saying that you enjoy the feeling of sand trickling through your fingers, and also enjoy prolonged kissing (although this is dependent on who with).

These are answers, though perhaps not the correct ones, to the first psych-based questionnaire given to aspirant ammo techs back in the 1970s. Trust to luck that this will intrigue the panel enough to call you for interview.

You can then explain that your sense of humour, vital in EOD work, remains intact despite your many years as an infantryman.

And if nothing else works, you'll have picked up a couple of points from the sympathy vote.

    Good luck Tiger!

Not trying to be funny but perhaps i have missed something here. If you have decided that you are fed up with the Infantry and have looked around at options for further employment and then decided that you want to go the AT route, would you not have some detailed reasons for your transfer in your own head rather than ask for advice here. Perhaps redundancy looms, an 11 year L/Cpl could possibly be in the bracket, you don't want to end up on the scrapheap after a particularly lacklustre career and so try to find a way to transfer into a job that you know is still needed, attracts a high profile and is probably undermanned. Not a way out of redundancy of course but AT must need storeman as well. Perhaps i have it all wrong, perhaps i am just cynical but if you really wanted this you would be able to sort your own application out surely, like i said perhaps im just being cynical.....................
The role of cavalry in war is to bring style and panache to what would otherwise be just an ugly brawl.

We don't have Ammo Tech storemen. It's either Ammo Tech or Supplier. A supplier may never go near ammo in their career, even if they do it's just another commodity. In essence suppliers deal with brown boxes, ATs deal with the stuff in the brown boxes.

The AT trade has aspect that quite easily fit into other corps, which keeps it interesting as we move around the trade.
