7TLR are due to move into the former RAF Cottesmore in 2013, along with a couple of infantry battalions. The RAF are retaining Wittering as their A4 hub, so unless something fundamental has changed, I think you are mistaken.

Did someone at DRLC think that renaming the Regiments would magically stop all the Loggie/rubber wheel bickering?

7 Regt are being renamed as a TLR (Theatre Logistic Regiment) as are 27 Regt and a few others. By the time the websites catch up they will have a new name.

By the time we pull out of Afghan the CORPS will be perfectly poised to deploy there with the formation of LSRs and TLRs...

Dingerr, 11 Regt have been told "No Move" for at least 10 years! The land might be worth tonnes of cash but no other local buisness will deploy all the 3rd rate civvies that work there

It's a shame that, it would be nice to share a location with other Regiments so we could lord it over them.

But thats madness, the DRLC at the time will have to change it all over again, its almost as if they want something to justify their job.

There will not be a DRLC by April this year, nor indeed an HQ DRLC, it 'merges' with DEME(A) wef 1 Apr 12 (give or take) and will be called DCSS (or similar) - with current DEME(A) being the first one. Regt Col will continue with some of the Corps' O&D issues as well as association stuff - there's more to it than that but I don't have all the detail to hand.
