I was talking to an MP not that long ago who was of the exact same opinion - infact he used pretty much the same expression but with a few expletives thrown in.

It was a private conversation so I'm not about to name the Tory involved even though I'm massively opposed to the government's slash and burn of the public sector which, of course, includes the military as a none manufacturing/profit making organisation. If I were in a support role I'd be worried now as it would appear that the government is set to cut more of them in stage3.
