Anyway; today is the day 43 Sqn find out whether the UK move is on or off. Definitely today; all the other deadline days were just test runs. Theres no doubt about it, this is the day of days.

    Whats the latest then?

I'm getting conflicting reports, some people (from 12LSR) want the CO strung up, others (from outside the 12LSR) say to many people jumped the gun before the CO gave any confirmation of the move.

No news yesterday; perhaps on or before Wednesday now.......................

    As regards who to blame?
Well, when the CO sends out a "Moving Back To UK" pack to all soldiers and families and it contains the line "The Sqn will move commencing on 7th November and this will be completed by 16th Dec; these dates are non-negotiable", it sorts of puts him in the firing line for disgruntled soldiers and cheesed-off wives (especially) when nothing happens.

The wives/partners brief 2 weeks ago was like an episode of The Jeremy Kyle Show, the CO was well out of his comfort zone as more than one wife (across the whole rank range, I might add) had her say.

Heh heh heh, I love it when the wifeys get angry at the hierachy. Quie hard to hide behind your rank when the people heckling arent in the army.

The deadline has been pushed back yet again then.
