You should hear the whinging from the regs I meet then they "get on with it" because there is no other viable option other than redundancy, but anyone who claims regs don't whinge must have never met 90% of the soldiery!!

As you well know the suggestion of using rememberance day parades in that fashion was roundly and rightly condemned. I and I'm sure 99% of the TA posters here will pay our respects for rememberance whether or not we are in uniform. Stop trying to bait us with that, we both know it's a crock.
If you stay in [the TA] long enough you will be issued with a sarcastic sense of humour, a beer gut, grey hair, no pension, bad knees, bad back, and an attic full of crap. (NINJA69)

I'm not trying to bait you with it, I'm merely pointing out what was said.

Of course we whinge, it's a squaddies prerogative to, but I think i'm right in saying that we chose not to do it in a public forum (generally). I watch with interest to see how your new poll goes

Pointing out what was said selectively of course
So we've gone from "a lack of whinging" to "of course we whinge" in one post? Good effort :D
My poll goes well so far, you bit, just waiting on the others to chime in :P :D :D

I'm sure you won't be dissapointed. My point is that the whinging doesn't seem to happen in public forums. Pride perhaps.

Talking of pride, the whinging that went on in the reg forums over those who attended the Gay Pride march in uniform was something to behold, and on public forums too, tsk :P

Our loathing of chutney ferrets is only surpassed by the bile produced bu whining, bounty grabbing, tour-choosing hobbyists. How was Cyprus by the way?

A 6 month booze cruise when I did it, but that was before we handed it over to the STABs when not a single incident report was filled in for about 6 years

That's because they used the arrse forums instead. Cringingly embarrasing..........

The job that pays the rent? Are you regular then? Cyprus? Ask the stabs who recently went. The same ones who were 'unavailable' for Herrick over the same time period.

Was 95-96 when I did that, wish Arrse was about then because the Greenjacket shovelers were on trial at the time, now THAT was fun downtown!

I think he means he is on the dole and relies on his bounty for income. There's a few of those about.
