Can anyone shed light on nhs cards? It's on the catterick kit list and I don't think I've ever had one? Could I go to my GP even though the army has my records now?

You don't need it as long as your NHS number is on your birth certificate.

I've seen alot of people mention sniper tape? I guess its a great buy to have? How much of it would you recommend me getting and where would I get it from... just camping shops and that?

Sniper tape.... That's a bit goochie isn't it?. I am simply using dark green electrical tape which costs just £1.
