Is it anything to do with GCSE grades? as in if you didnt get relevent Qual's in them you have to do the army tests? It's the only thing i can think of...

It wont make a blind bit of difference, if you are going for a technical trade you havent got a cat in hells chance of getting in this side of Christmas i can assure you ;)

well i got c in maths and b in engl lit n a c in engl lang. and double cc in science which cover the grades i need to be an ammo techy

Oh and to answer the Basic Skills question, everyone has to sit the literacy and numeracy assessments, whether you have a degree in English and Maths or not

They can be done at any time prior to the recruiter interview its just that offices like to try and minimise the amount of times you have to visit the office so its common practice to get it out of the way when the applicant sits the BARB test.

im waiting to do adsc on 1st sept, hoping to get in paras running 1.5 mile in 9.30 im sure ill get it down to a sub 9.00 but i here you have to do P.R.A.C before you get accepted into basic can anyone tell me what its like plz ?

ive been told by my AFCO its basically week 21 Pre-Para selection. with the log race, and the longer runs.

They have had my medical forms for 3 weeks now. and only actually sent them off today, forgot to do the height/weight bit either but thats no real drama. They have managed to lose my opticians form too grr
