Re: Were are you with your application process? - From app to P1
The officer didn't explain anything about the grade structure to me in my interview. He just told me i'd passed, gave me a magazine and dvd, and told me to contact my ACIO/AFCO as soon as I got home to get my start date. When I went to see my recruiter the next day he told me my start date, my grade and said I got a good report.

Re: Were are you with your application process? - From app to P1
Bear in mind there may be 3/4 different officers interviewing so they will all have different methods. One lad got deffered because his interviewing officer said he didnt have enough knowledge of his chosen job, whereas i didnt get asked anything in detail about my chosen job/regiment in my interview.

Handed in my formal resignation, waiting for my RG8 to arrive, flying to the UK on the 4th of July (the only flight available was on independence day, lol), and will be heading straight from Heathrow to the Recruitment office in Wembley. Apparently, the fact I am getting my RG8 sent here, and filled out here will cut down the time it takes to get in, can only hope so. The next 36 days are going to drag on forever, and thats only when it all really begins!

Re: Were are you with your application process? - From app t
Well just come back from town - from my 2nd interview and happy days, the interviewing officer is putting me on the next selection , he said that my average runtime of 11.17 should be ok to pass at ADSC just as long as i keep my general fitness up and keep ground pounding.... He also said "once you get to phase 1 and the PTI's get hold of you it'll come down a huge amount ". - oooh the excitment!
Things are now getting rather close! With the vacancies in my chosen trade being nearly in double digits , i'm pre-empting being at phase 1 end of july/beginning of august....Happy Days folks and nice weather to go with it.

I was first up for my interview and wasnt exactly grilled on my job choice, but was asked why i wanted to do that particular role... however its what i do in civvy street so was ok... like u said earlier there was no mention of grade etc

REME - Metalsmith , bud **looks in the direction of his signature**
. Just got to work hard before selection and i'm sure i'll do fine.
Something i am a bit vague on is selection - with the new grade system so if anyone could enlighten me in regards to that i'd appreciate that.

Re: Were are you with your application process? - From app to P1
They calculate how you've done overall at the end, for my job i needed a grade C or above to pass and luckily got a B.
