mine was pretty quick

start going on 2 mile runs if you havent already, half mile warmup and 1.5mile best effort (time yourself)

Im getting nervous now! Handed my rest of my medical forms over on Monday, was told I should hear for an interview date before end of week, just phoned office, they not heard if I have medical clearance yet.

Gettin all nervous now that Im not gonna get cleared

Another step towards my goal, received medical forms for doc to fill in today. Getting them down there ASAP!
If get the green light 4 weeks later and i'll be cracking on with zed BARB Test!!
Slow progress , but getting there lads and lasses.

I have sent in all my medical forms waiting to hear back - had to get my opticians form done today cos i have a prescription for glasses even though i rarely if ever wear them lol!!

Got my pre-selection tomorrow and nervous is not even the word, very scared would be more like it, Fear of failure i think!!

Anyone who's done pre selection how was it?

I completed Pre - selection , when i applied at aged 16. Not totally sure what it consists of now, however in the time i attended PS, took part in heaves, jerry can , 1.5miler.
Was'nt too bad. Treat it like the real thing after all your CA isn't likely to put you forward for the real thing if you can't pass a cut down version..

Pissed off now as didn't complete my run today been told to take 4-7 days off from running but do swimming and weighs to let me leg heal as i have shin splints and something cracked in my leg today so not too pleased about that but as soon as my four days is up I will be back to the training double hard and have another pre-selection test booked in for a months time. No way I will be going back for a third time if i have any choice in the matter! Was a girl there today is going back for the 6th attempt next month.

Seven weeks to go!!! Got a strange mix of excitement and trepidation, but I'm sure everyone has nerves when the date gets closer and it all becomes real :D
