    Argh!

Waiting on the GP is ball ache, only been a week like but I really wanted to get the med forms back to the afco before the end of the week. Nevermind.

I was saying I had a disciplinary earlier in the thread, went to it and my manager basically dangled the reference request letter from the afco and said you better not mess up again....

I handed in my medical forms 2 weeks ago exactly, Is this the usuall wait for a reply, ive still had no responce, would it be worth ringin up to see where they are in the process, (i wouldn't like to wait for over a month for a reply only to be Deferred) It can be an anxious wait

Mine took about 16 weeks and that was before the huge application surge, but for some reason they said when I got mine back that I was all clear and that I don't have to do a medical until phase 1, it might be because I haven't been to the doctors for over 7 years. But just ring up every now and again because I had to ring them and my recruiter said "no nothing" and then a few seconds later "oh no, we got them back this week your all clear".

Just try to remember you in a bloody long line chap :D

For me? Over two weeks now... got them back yesterday and the idiot hadn't completed one of the sections. They went back today with another sternly worded letter

Your employer can threaten not to provide ya with a reference aye..but he cannot give you a negative reference.

Still waiting on med form clearance from ADSC. Got used to it now so not too worried.

Although, i never went to my employer for a reference.
Mine is currently being a real pain in the trumpet, because they are aware that i'm joining the army, and that i don't love my Mcjob. It's more a of a working me to the bone attitude! I keep trying to work out when i should hand my notice in, they are slowly pushing me to the point where it'll be asap!

Haha, yeh.. I will rejoice of the day I get a date for phase 1 (hopefully if I can get there) so I will know the happy day I can walk in the office and hand in that notice, I won't say anything, I will just want to walk in, hand it to him and carry on back to work.

I hope they do work me to the bone, Ill take as many crappy hours they will throw at me, I need it.

Im not even thinking Im certain to get in the army because it's not an easy application, but I will be the happiest person alive once I know when I can finally leave my current job for definite.

Please change the grammar in the original title. I know the mod deleted my first post but if you dont change it, people will think all squaddies are just as thick as the original poster.

Thats not the right attitude to have mate. You should have said "When i get there"
"Perceive that which cannot be seen with the eye"
