I've had one 5 minute fone call on Sunday evening wen my JS sounded upbeat. Not a dickie bird since...!! I'm thinking no news is good news. I can't stop thinking about him though and wondering wot he's doing and would just love some reassurance from him...!! Boys eh..??!!

just had my 1st phone call my son sounded realy happy getting on well with his roomies they had injections yesterday also a visit to the dentist each given a toothbrush kit gets his kit on friday

Ladies, no PM's recieved, as for your answer...

We try to keep phase 2 questions out of this forum as it is badge specific and a bit too wide a subject to be looked after here. However starting your own parents thread in the infantry forum (for example) may not work for you as the moderation will be more relaxed (your in with the big boys now).

So I would say try it with a couple of caveats;

Its not a replica of the main parents thread (call it Phase 2 parents chat not ITC phase 2 chat).

There is a distinct difference between phase 1 and 2, no more hand holding as they are now soldiers, expect some harsh realities to come out.

Finally it will not become a sticky unless it proves popular amongst you (no bumping)but as your all chatter boxes no doubt it will get there fast.

Of course the forum mods reserve the right to obliterate it from orbit should it be a load of nonsense

Over to you guys.

just had a letter today more tears my js is doing fine realy enjoying himself misses his old routine
that means he can not do as he pleases or raid the fridge lol hes a little bored with hanging around :D

Had call last night Son syas all Ok, lads good crack, food good - bit bored - seems to be common thought as admin etc Hopefully gets kit Thursday
Feel so much better for hearing from him but still feel down cant believe he has gone
He also said some had left - not from his room - I thought they had to wait 2 weeks ?? Just hope he can finish this

Off to a good start anyway
