Ah that's quite good then. I need to get my run times down under the 10min mark.

Re: ADSC - Chat and Queries here
Can anybody answer a small question I have. Right, obviously everyone knows that for different jobs you need different run times.
That being said, I want to get into the paras. So my run time needs to be sub 9:18. I can confidently do this when im timing myself, yesterday I got a PB of 8:11. However my question is, when you line up for the run at ASDC, are the lads who are tryin to smash out at least a sub 9min run put at the front of the pack?
I was just curious, because when im doing it myself I set off at a fast pace and keep it up all the away to achieve my target. So was just thinking that if I was placed at the back of the group my run time may suffer due to trying to get past people.
Cheers!

At Pirbright you just lined up, if your going para don't fuck about, park your arse at the front job done and the track was large enough to go past people as the group thinned out pretty quickly.

Re: ADSC - Chat and Queries here
We were about 15 people who did the 1.5 mile. Everybody was standing pretty flat all random, by now you would know who the quicker guys is cause you've talked about your runtimes and you would have seen the performances in the PT Session. Can't imagine you loosing any time even if theres 35 runners. I run fastest at 08:21 it took me 4 seconds to take the lead and just carry on.

Re: ADSC - Chat and Queries here
Like the others have said, at pirbright we lined up at the start line after the warm up. Theres a fair amount of room so you should get a good start. Then you do 2 and a bit laps and your finished :P

Re: ADSC - Chat and Queries here
Cheers lads, so its the case of barging to the front or if theres less numbers everyone just lining up. Fair enough! If I have to place my backside infront of everyone ill just do it, because, at the end of the day, its your career thats on the line.
Cheers for the info though!
P.s. Whats the track like at Glencourse? Thats where my ADSC is taking place.
