Re: ADSC - Chat and Queries here
Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, going to Pirbright in Feb. Last question. For the static lift, is it basically a deadlift? Can you use any grip (i.e. pronated or hook grip) or does it have to be overhand? What is a good score? Cheers boys. Just wanna come thoroughly prepared this time! ))

The 'worst' thing that happened was one girl in particular kept on getting them out at the slightest opportunity. There were no complaints, as it took the attention away from her big nose.
I'll be the first person to say 'post some pics of them' etc etc before the usual suspects say it and the thread gets derailed.

Re: ADSC - Chat and Queries here
Static lift is electronic, as in you pull on a handle and the force gets measured by a small computer and gives a read out in kilos. You get 3 goes. I'd never done one before, and they tell you and make you do it exactly as they want. It was an over arm grip.

How is everyone's prep going over Christmas? I'm finding running in the deep snow quite good actually, and the cold mornings are perfect. Have had to put the revision off until later though with a house full of family!
Got my ADSC date before the break, which is the end of January. Anyone else going around the same time?we are, we are we are....

Re: ADSC - Chat and Queries here
are you searched at adsc glencorse?
i was there before and got deffered on spirometry test so wasnt there long.
and also when i was deferred on spirometry test i had to do one with my doctor and i passed with them so do you think i will have to go a day early again and do the spirometry with them (glencourse doctors) again?
dont answer by saying you should ask your recruiter becasue quite frankly i would be happy if they forgot about the spiro lol.
