I'm not 100% mate I'm just guessing that if I've been offered October then once that's filled the next 1 would be November. Don't take my word 4 it though Lol. Well done with your run and heaves though mate, you'll piss it, just don't get caught out on the team tasks cos some people failed for
not being vocal and inputting any ideas.

It's cool mate. Passed ADSC a couple of weeks ago. Got PRAC on 1st sept. My mate passed PRAC a few days before i had ADSC & went to P1 last sunday. Can't see that all of octobers places have been taken already

My 1st 2 choices are infantry but I still had to do TST for my third job choice which was a driver ( Royal Engineers ). If you do some revision you should pass with a good score mate, you'll beat my score easily mate, no doubt about it. I was shocked I even got 27 tbh.

Didn't even realise I was meant to take
Test as my 3rd choice was in the RLC
Didn't revise didn't pass GCSE maths
And oddly enough got 27/55 although I
Needed 19. You get a calculator and pencil
And paper for workings out just so ya know

The Senior recruiter told me in the confirmatory interview that PARA intakes are every 5 weeks, with places available on all of them because of PRAC. So if I get through PRAC, I should be loaded onto the next depot PARA intake, and judging by the current date, my ADSC date and an approx waiting time for PRAC, it looks like I'll be doing PRAC around the time you lads are heading down to catterick :( So that leaves me hopefully with November for CIC PARA

Hey, not that i have any intention of failing, but what happens if someone doesn't get their 1st job choice runtime in adsc? do they get made to do adsc again or do they just get their second choice, or do they get a choice of both?

You continue with ADSC, whilst the other 2 job choices decide if they want the recruit based on their performance. You can opt to just leave, and re-attempt selection in 3-6 months time in an effort to once again get your first job choice, should you so wish

I partially understand if you are going for paras chap, but if your going for anything else then I don't see why you can't get 10 minutes 30, actually if I were honest I wouldn't even understand if your going for paras because you put it down on the sheet.

Is it not looking to appealing in reality? :D

Get a grip and dig deep you'll be fine!

Haha yes i am going for paras actually, I can do the time but you know, prepare for the worst yadda yadda.

It's a selection course that's done after passing ADSC for people wishing to join the Parachute regiment only. It's a difficult 3 day course. PRAC - Parachute Regiment Aptitude Course. We PARA hopefuls should consider it a blessing of sorts, it's only because of PRAC that we have intakes available for this year

Use the search function if your applying for the PARA's mate for more info.

Im not mate but i've ran the 1.5 mile run down their last week at let me say of you do the same one then put a big fecking hill in the last 400 or so meters of your run because its killer :D but don't worry like!
