Re: Be Honest.......what's your 1.5 mile run time?
amxpuddy..
READ IT AGAIN!!!!
10:34..
I never said 10 mins 34 FFS :D
I said it's just over a week.
10:34 is 3 days and a very "lazy fraction" more than a week (7 days)..
Geddit?? :D
You're doing fine mate.
Mine was 12:30 (minutes) with hee haw training for a year, plus smoking and drinking like a demon.
press ups = 89 in 2mins
sit ups (all the way up n down) = 70
I'm a lard arrse. In my youth i was a cross county runner.
the trick is:
at age say 30, you need to do 50 of an exercise. When you start count from 50 down to 1.
much easier mentally and you'll do at least a third more than you think you can.
try it.
It's an auld trick mate and works a treat :DSparky2339 isny right in the heed.

Re: Be Honest.......what's your 1.5 mile run time?
i'd probably be able to do about 40 press ups in 2 minutes lol. I could do sit ups well just not press ups, find them hard for some reason.

As a youth you will burn calories like a sailor spends money.
Size and bulk don't happen over night, but over years. Don't worry about the image or "current look" just be as fit as you can.
Lung fit my grandfather called it, hill fit they call it these days.
Long distance, whether walking, shuffling or with the speed of a thalidomide gazelle; it doesn't matter just get there.
Your mind will tell you you're rubbish, you'll "think" you're not fit enough.
Bollokks. get a training partner. When you can talk as you walk/run you're WELL on the way to being fit.
Muscular fitness takes longer and is a false image TBH.
Good luck.Sparky2339 isny right in the heed.
