I trust you are doing the advanced groups at BMF (green bibs in London - don't know if it's different outside of London)? BMF alone will get you well and truly fit enough for ADSC as long as you sleep enough and eat properly.

I'm going for Paras too, I do 4/5 BMF sessions a week, 3x1 hour swim sessions, a 12k run and cycle circa 150km a week. I sleep very well at night

The static lift is ALOT I think I will bust a vein in my ass when I try at ADSC in 2 weeks. From what I've been able to gather they just want everyone doing the 1.5miler under the 9.18 mark.
Lifting 116kg on that static lift at ADSC isn't that hard lads, just pull like your trying to rip the thing off. Doesn't matter anyway, I passed for Para Reg back in September and was told I had 9.40 in my run, but in the final interview was told this wasn't so and anyone who was told this, and got between 9:18-9:40 and were going Para Reg were failed.
You, you and you, panic. The rest of you, come with me.

I'll second that, to get 116kg on the static static lift isn't that difficult.

I personally wouldn't bother with treadmills, go out running around where you live.

Yes treadmils are way too artificial, plus i hate being stuck in the same place (unless the girlfriend isn't there and there are some nice women in the gym ;) ) I found joining a running club helped me back in the summer when i did alot more running. Put myself on all the fun runs i could find aswell. And did that Mens health survival of the fittest! Bloody good fun.

So yea just find a running club and going to that a fair bit will help, plus they will have lots of tips on what type of training to do!
