Re: FITNESS Qs & ADSC 1.5 mile run times
Lifting 116kg on that static lift at ADSC isn't that hard lads, just pull like your trying to rip the thing off. Doesn't matter anyway, I passed for Para Reg back in September and was told I had 9.40 in my run, but in the final interview was told this wasn't so and anyone who was told this, and got between 9:18-9:40 and were going Para Reg were failed.

I'll second that, to get 116kg on the static static lift isn't that difficult.

I personally wouldn't bother with treadmills, go out running around where you live.

Re: FITNESS Qs & ADSC 1.5 mile run times
Yes treadmils are way too artificial, plus i hate being stuck in the same place (unless the girlfriend isn't there and there are some nice women in the gym ;) ) I found joining a running club helped me back in the summer when i did alot more running. Put myself on all the fun runs i could find aswell. And did that Mens health survival of the fittest! Bloody good fun.
So yea just find a running club and going to that a fair bit will help, plus they will have lots of tips on what type of training to do!
