i wouldnt bother timing it if i was you, just run until you cant run no more every other day or everyday if you can handle it and then time your mile & 1/2 once a week and see if there is any difference.

i should have said run as far as you can until your legs wont take you no more, dont just do a mile and half, do 3,4,5 miles every other day or everyday then do a 1.5 mile run at the end of the week and see if your time is improving, thats what i did, ran 3 miles every other day then did a 1.5 mile on a sunday and my time flew down. i do 3 miles everyday now, sometimes its a struggle as my legs are aching like a bitch but it makes my 1.5 mile time alot better

Don't focus on speed , just do long distance eg 6 miles every other day, if your running a 13:00 you obviously don't have a decent base yet, without a decent running base you can't really improve your speed , keep at the long distance runs to build your stamina & cardiovascular system up then you will naturally be faster over shorter distances& then you can start on the sprints ect to improve. But distance and consistency are most important. If you want any info inbox me

I imagine you have only just started running Fent? 13 minutes is barely making it round, so as others have said, I suggest running 1.5 miles every day for a week, then mix in some longer runs and then exclusively long runs with a 1.5 at the end of each week.

Few questions if you guys dont mind filling me in.

Jerry Can test: What is the Max Distance you go, and what is the pace?

Bag Lift: What is the technique that you lift this - Is it as simple as a squat lift to chest then place on platform?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
