Just did 10 mins flat on my pre selection. Only about 1/4 us did it in under 10:30. They told all of us anything over 10:30 is a fail.

nice work, I would imagine the "anything over 10:30 is a fail" is merely to add pressure or he was talking about a specific regiment. You can't be failed for being over 10:30 if you're going for one of the regiments with the slower run requirements.

I got 10:23 at ADSC today and 11:36 at pre ADSC about a month ago. The thing is I thought my time today would be worse as I didn't feel as though I performed too well.

It's amazing what the extra adrenaline can do, even if you don't feel the performance was as good.

Congrats on your grade, remember that the actual grade doesn't matter, so much as the score. Being two marks off of the A only makes that two marks of difference, rather than a whole grade. I'm sure you already know this, but the scores are fed in to a queue and each time someone gets a higher score for the same job role, they squeeze in front of you in the queue (cheeky buggers, eh?) but you've also just cut in front of anyone who was 3 or more points off of an A grade. As I said, I'm sure you already knew that but worth reitterating anyway.

    Pull your finger out lads.

I am being deadly serious, unless you are built like a brick out house or have a weight problem you should not be turning in times above ten minutes if you are a healthy young man. If you think downing the protein shakes and using the multi gym a lot are making you fitter then stop, they are just making you heavy.

As an example Para Reg for instance used to be 9 minutes, not the current 9.45 so don't get all warm and fuzzy thinking you are super fit turning in a time above ten minutes.

I am 34 and I shouldnt be able to beat you if you are giving it 100%, work on it chaps.

    11.47 is less than 13.15.
    So take an educated guess.
