I would still aim to get under 10:30 to be honest, it looks better.
Laugh at our stupid questions now but one day ARRSE will belong to the mongs!

Got my start date for October. Pretty f&ckin chuffed!!!
I ran a 10m41s on the day by the way, and I was mid pack (I am an old b@stard though...). You don't want to be running at about 14 mins, you'll be the only one!! Train harder!!

I believe the run is in the form of a lap or some sort, as such you would only go up as many hills as you would go down and so it should basically even out. The course isn't going to be absolutely horrendous, otherwise barely anyone would pass. I would just continue with your training and get your fitness as strong as you can and then just give it your best effort and ADSC and hopefully it will pay off for you.

14minutes just isnt running in my opinion make sure your out every other day hitting the pavement if your run time is over 10:30 allways aim for your best possible dont go by the guide lines and try and scrape through show 'em you want the job!

Passed ADSC at Lichfield today. I was 2 marks off an A grade. Run time was 10:23, at pre ADSC I got 11:36.
If anyone has any questions I'll try my best to answer them.

Does anyone have any tips on how to handle the jerry cans walk on a hot day. On the assumption that I get a date for ADSC soon, it will be in the middle of summer and those cans are gona be covered in sweat along with my hands. I was told that if they slip out, that's it... You cant pick them up again. I sweat like a bitch :/

I did it yesterday and it was red hot. Everyone's hands were sweaty but no one in my group failed the jerrycans. Just keep a tight grip.
