Well to be honest mate my run time wasn't amazing 10:20 was mine . I loved every single second of it all the guys that I met were first class. It is hard work but very fun people shit there self about the interview at the end its nothing what you might think. All I can say is during the team task roar at the top of your voice MOTIVATION I done that and was told during my interview I was by far the best in my team . as for everything else it is mostly self effort so it's up to you .
The best bit for me was being told I was the only one who was 1 point off an A and everyone else had low B's . Stick in mate and I am sure you will return home with the certificate of employment.BARB - Passed

I've got pre ADSC in about a week and I'm preparing my icebreaker now, what kind of stuff do people say in it, I know about the new format and the 4 sections and that, just wondering what type of stuff people actually say, e.g. About themselves etc ? Cheers

Lots of eye contact, and for gods sake hold your hands behind your back to stop you fidgeting/touching your face (90% of the icebreakers I saw at ADSC involved guys swaying, touching their face every 5 seconds and scratching various parts of their body) - This will make you at least look confident. Remember, you're going to be standing up in front of a bunch of lads who are in the same boat as you, and most of them will also be shitting it.
Pre-Selection"Man who chops wood warms himself twice."
Part of my icebreaker was about that time I attacked an elephant whilst blitzed when I was working in Zambia...

3-4 minutes mate. They don't really give a shit what you talk about (ok, a bit) as long as you are vocal, confident and give good eye contact. Your name, age, talk about your school/college/work, your job/training/skills you'll learn and they might give you a topic to talk about such as most memorable moment or your favorite film.
