You don't need lessons just get in a bloody pool at your local gym and flap about for a while until you improve. Common sense.

Well if the guy is a weak swimmer then he may need lessons instead of being brick pick up practise for the lifegaurds.

lessons booked, gonna feel a right plank but like you say, its better to get up to standard before i start.

You have to sign a form at your ACIO now stating that you won't change capbadges during your training.

If you want to change capbadge ask at your AFCO before you go because after you sign your acceptance letter its meant to turn into a nightmare.

acceptance letter? whats that? i'm a bit confused by my AFCO, i passed ADSC 3 weeks ago now and every time i phone or drop in with a question, about joining dates etc they tell me to wait for a call or letter. my recruiting sergeant is no where to be seen since i passed, i ask where he is so i can speak to him and they say he is out recruiting!?
