I know im no "Super Uber Freaky Fit Para" but for myself, quite a big build guy running that time on a selection.. Will they be happy with that?
I'm not sure mate I havn't done selection yet, but what I will tell you is that since I have been training I have never lost my Pb by more than 15 seconds and that was only once! and weather was sh1t. The only way they will be happy is if they see you putting real effort in, nobody can judge you if you have given it your best shot, thats all you can do mate! I'd say you were doing fine though, 11.13 isn't to bad for RE. You need to be hitting and breaking that time to be satisfied. My advice is make sure you aim for a PB on every run you do, the harder you push yourself the better, fitter and faster you will become. What do you weigh?

You aint to bad then mate your half a stone heavier than me but I'm 6ft 1. I started with a run time of 12.05. I got 9.58 last night. I run 4 times a week.... every other day have done for 11 weeks now. I'm going for Para's or Marines I'm still undecided, so I've got a bit more work to do. Your well within limits of your desired Job so I wouldnt worry too much. You want to be as fit as you can though before you join. It will make things alot easier for yourself and you won't let your comrades down.

Couldn't agree more. Just keep battering into your routine and be the fittest you can possibly be. It will make life much more easier for you mate.

On the other hand that does say it is for ADSC!
Therefore im am sure there is a test during or at the end of phase 1 for the 1.5 miler and ALL soldiers have to get 10:30 or under.. im sure my recruiter said that?

Hi,
Just a quick question, If i go to Selection and they find something that needs sorting and defer me... lets say they find out i have a varicole (may have) would they stop looking once they find that or carry on the medical exam?
