Ahh nice one. you might hear soon enough. is there any way you can boost your grade bydoing the pre phase 1 day that some of the others seem to be doing?

i dunno if it'll add to my grade, but my recruiter invited me for a 3-day course organised by the Regiment next week on from the 16th - 18th. we'll be issued with all the training gear and'll stay there for 3 full days. its on weapons training, low level field craft, navigation and urban combat. I had already done a one-day course on urban combat, last two weeks. i really dunno how this'll aid my recruitment process, but i guess there's no harm in getting to know what i'm up for before the real thing!

Went into ACIO today slip on's as long as formal black and professional are perfectly fine

That may be what the ACIO says, but the training staff might have different views.

I found out for those of us who don't have the unlimited funds to go out and buy anything off the list so I did what the army find usefull by using my intelligence and fact finding. Believe it or not the army like that as a quality in their soldiers apparently. Sorry if it's offended you

So you're implying the staff are all clones and at least one won't want to give you a bollocking?
Are you sure HE didn't want to give you a bollocking regardless of him having to say yes it'll be alright?

Panda has the right idea (as did I). Don't make out like I know nothing about what the Army looks for in a recruit. I'm not thick.

Relax people. Now the guy at the ACIO was an ex-pirbright staffer? ok then his word carries weight. But all il say is dont be suprised if some up his arse NCO decides ya should have stuck to the list. Bullshit baffles brains and they are the masters of slinging it. Either way theres no need for a forum catfight like last night. Lets just nip it in the bud lol
