is it mostly people deciding they cant hack it, or through injury.. would you say it was down to mentality or lack of physical fitness ??

The majority left because they decided it was not for them, the army is a very big thing to commit to as it is a totally different way of life. Fitness wise I don't think any one left for as the fitness side isn't impossible you just need the dedication and team work to get through it. And we lost a few people due to them being ufassed (unfit for army service) basically if you are a mong they will get rid of you now as the army is more or less full.

congradulations on passing out, must of been a pleasure to see prince andrew.

Was just wondering what the size of your platoon was when you first arrived? and how many of them passed out?

they say one in three make it through trainging.

    Start mine on 21st march.
Who ever told you that was talking out of their a*$e. If you pass the tests and show commitment you will pass out - it is that simple. The pass rate here is about 79% - in other words 8 out of 10 pass out.

People seem to be stressing about how many people are dropping out..! Tip, just man up and don't flake out? It'll be tough, but it is the Army after all.
