Re: ATR Bassingbourn Chat & Queries
cheers. It's not really a big deal, I'll have word with them when I'm there and see what happens. If it's not possible then it's not possible.

edit: sorry that my questions aren't really Bassingbourn specific, just thought it'd be better than starting a new thread everytime something pops up.

Re: ATR Bassingbourn Chat & Queries
Phoned up my careers office on monday there and they said they had no dates in yet for me
! I dunno, it might be because my phase 2 is realllllllllllllllllllllly long, like 40 weeks for air con fitters.
I'm slightly in 2 minds whether to phone them up and ask if i can go for my second job choice (plumber) instead of my first (can i even do that?) But i dunno.
The wait would be made so much easier if i actually knew when the hell i was due to start!! haha
I'm not 100% sure on this, but my mate started phase 1 in bassingbourn a few weeks ago as a fitter general and he says he got to choose to join 24 reg which is commando. He also said they got a presentation on what to join. He didn't mention when you do AACC or PCOY. I'm probably guessing when you move into your unit.

Re: ATR Bassingbourn Chat & Queries
Hey, I don't post much on here but I read alot of whats going on. lol. Started my application in July and passed Selection middle of October, which seems like friggin' ages ago and still waiting on dates to go. Aiming to join Household Cav but as of yet, no dates. Its grinding my gears. On the plus side, least I'm not doing fieldcraft in this snow! :D
