Nice, expect I'll be doing my oath a couple of weeks before. Fair enough, I've started getting the odd stuff as I see it, now looking out for a decent cheap iron, might just take the one from the house before I leave ;)

Just ticking over with circuit and runs every other day, not beasting myself like I did before selection, could see myself picking up an injury a week before!

How about you mate, doing much training?

Just running 3 times a week and some weights and cardio at the gym. Been going swimming once a week and finding that really good! I know what your saying last thing I want is an injury!

They asked me if I wanted to go for a day up aldershot on the 1st July. Don't think will be doing a great deal just a chance to ask a few questions get an idea for the different units etc and think you do a little bit of running/ assault course. Think it's open to anyone including people who aren't even in the process of joining, should see if you can get on it mate.

How long have you been waiting for your start date bud?

Just has my date changed from the 27th November to the 7th August. Couldn't believe it for the first ten minutes, but its so much better than having to wait five months.

Yeah I think I went to that last year, if it's the same thing I'm thinking of. Might have to ask at my AFCO what it's all about.

Well I passed adsc in november, so almost 9 months by time I'm in training! Worth it though.

How about you buddy, when did you pass selection?

I started my application in may last year and some idiot messed it up. I started again in October and passed selection in may!

Was told there was no jobs in the engineers at all. So I had to wait and they phoned me last Thursday saying that I'm off in sept! Well happy!

Just had a look on here to see if any1 was going to Bassingbourn when I'm there to get to know ppl before I go.
