Yeah, I mean I won't finish my 3 month PT diary until April, but it'd be nice to get a date straight away rather than have to do Int. selection after that's completed.

Amazingly I've actually managed to get a job in the meantime, after endless applications. Apparently this hotel doesn't mind that I'll be leaving as soon as the army accepts me into her warm embrace... hah.

Sounds good. I was looking for a new temp-job as this one was paying utter shit... By some miracle I was invited to a meeting this morning with my manager's manager and I was thinking "fuck!" as the rest of my office is currently facing redundancy and due to hear exactly who is going over the next 2-3 days... However I was actually offered a promotion of role and an extra £4,000 on my salary so I was pretty extatic with that outcome - Means I can focus on the gym!

Yeah i got an offer to join the Rifles on May 13th but not sure to accept it because it wasn't even one of my three job choices... No intake dates for RRF at this time apparently so im not sure if i should wait it out.

On a different note, someone mentioned a few posts back that in the RA you dont get to choose what regiment you go to? One of my job choices was armoured gunner but after training does that mean i have a chance of going to a regiment with the light gun? If anyone knows let me know please.

Yes you go in as RA Gunner Crewman with a preference of where you would like to go but until you get to Larkhill for Phase 2 you dont know where you will be streamed.
