Re: Joining Up Special Circumstances
If people drop out of the que ahead of you, then i figure you will be put into their place. With the credit crunch and all the rest, there is a metric shit-ton of people waiting right now so late 2010 is likely.
(im still a civvy so dont take my word for fact)

Re: Joining Up Special Circumstances
Have you filled out and sent off your medical forms yet? If not that could add a couple of more weeks onto the time till you get to selection. Same with if you have any more interviews left.
Ask your recruiter, that's what he/she is there for!

Re: Joining Up Special Circumstances
I wouldn't go around thinking you will get in January.
You have to wait for medical forms, interview, selection.
You still have to pass all this and get a good score at ADSC before thinking of a starting date.Royal Engineers

Re: Joining Up Special Circumstances
You might be a lucky one and get it all done and an early starting date.
Wish I could be that lucky

Re: Joining Up Special Circumstances
I can only really advise you from my own experience, but I'd say you haven't got a cat in hells of making Jan for INT CORPS.

Now, I have no idea how your app will pan out, and I'm only letting you know what happened to me - your mileage may vary!
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Re: Joining Up Special Circumstances
my recruiter said to me other day that despite when you actually pass selection, the ones with better grades are thrown in first to the empty selection dates and for those who drop out. so get on the fitness and learn about selection, start training now get a high grade and the january could be a possibility

How Long in all does it take
Hi , I was wondering , how long it takes from first going to see the careers people to starting basic training , i know this would depend on complications etc but a rough idea would be good
and can any one tell me the selection procces (how many interviews , physical tests etc )
I need to work on my fitness . so im wondering wether it would be worth doing that for 3-6 months then going to the recruitment people or going to them now signing up because the physical tests wont be for a while ?
