Basically, Yes. I will be going into the ACIC to discuss my 3 job choices (although I am set on the royal engineers either two the trades in the RE I have opted for would suffice to be honest.) On monday so hopefully they will give me an indicator of entry, That's the plan anyway!

Army Regimental numbers are given the same day your allocated unless you are an overseas applicant (due to not bing able to apply for a NI number till six weeks before). If you re-enlisted/rejoined in last four years or so with a sproggy JPA Army number you get to keep it but if your old number starts with a 2 then it will have to be changed to a JPA 3******* number.

Yeah I know, the time seems to be flying by! I remember when there was a load of us on here waiting for our dates for training, seems ages ago now.

Well I don't know what's happened in my case as I have kept my army number up until now, got my letter two weeks ago confirming my basic training dates and telling me my army number-252*****

Have been informed that I WILL be keeping my number by a SNCO mate of mine, if he is right then good stuff. If not then its not really a drama, I would prefer to keep it though.
