Jayabbo, it depends on trade, you've been lucky in picking a trade that is not sought after obviously.

Re: Were are you with your application process? - From app to P1
I've asked them about it on a few occasions over the past couple of months, not hammered the point across that I'd like to have my papers ASAP, but enquired when I'll be getting them. Just got told that my recruiter would be the one who will get those done, and that I should expect them within the next month or two. If I don't get them by the start of May, I'll ring them up and ask them to send them to me.
By world cup do you mean football? Not a footie man myself. I'm from South Africa and still couldn't give a hoot about it! Rugby all the way!

Utter bollocks you dont need to know your army number for the oath, its a totally relaxing thing to do no pressure apart from reading the oath out, he talks to you and makes sure you know everything thats going to happen in the next few months.

I'm at about the same point as you roar, I picked the medical forms up from the doctor and handed them to the sargeant myself today.
I was told this is the best way to do it and saves them from getting lost in the post.
