I've been told i'm joining on 13th September (Royal Artillery) and i've been told if i do the Army Preperation course in April which is 12 weeks, it'll tick all the boxes and tie in nicely with my joining date. So good news and really happy, although i have to do my ADSC again because i've been waiting so long but apparently there's a new thing they're doing where if you have already done your ADSC you only have to attend for 1 day. So all in all very good news and now i'll finally be able to crack on getting this all sorted and my day for joining will be here in no time. Anybody else joining on the 13th September?

Can anyone get on this course. Im bored and it might help time fly till i go to catterick.

hi there , i have a few questions . im looking in joining the British army , i have done sum research on what sort of jobs intrests me , the only thing im not entirely sure about is , that im currently in south africa , how do i go about joining the army down here? we do have British consulates in south africa , can i apply through them or do i have to fly up to the U.K to apply to join the army? its just a ticket is like R7000 bit of a waste if i dont make it , i have however copyed the training programe off the website and will begin with that to get me into shape so by the time i have to take the fitness test i will be prepared , i have also gone through the BARB test and the others on the site , to get an idea what is what. i do have a passport it expires in 2016 so plenty of time.
