i think your careers adviser hasn't put you forward because there is a hold on selection.there is no point doing selection if you are going to be waiting longer than 12 months for a start date.because your medical and selection only last 12 months . Eh? There has been a few people getting selection dates still. I was told a few from the office I was using was given a date not long ago, They are still going on just not as often it would seem

Ok Im not sure who Grizzly is but believe from comments he has wrote that hes serving and maybe is in the Recruit ing process somewhere...maybe blunt at times but when you see bone comment after bone comment on here daily can understand his mood swings.....Now Will you on the other hand have just proven once more what a prize C.U.N.T you really are and if I was your Recruiter would be thinking very hard about your trainability in the Army....Wind it in, STFU and keep your crap comments from this forumn or come and join us big boys in the NAAFI forumns where Im sure you wont last two minutes. Until you have anything sensible to say keep it buttoned and get the correct advice from your ACIO , remember this is the Recruiting joining up forumn so keep it that way and if you cant take home truths from serving soldiers and listen to Correct information then you wont get past week 7 of Basic training

And before you ask Ive been in the Army and Training processes longer than most of you have been alive so do know what Im talking about. Main tip....Listen to what you are told by your ACIO....They are your GODS and know what they are talking about....this forumn is great to chat, meet people your going through the process with you....but believe most the comments at your peril and delve through the shit posts

ello fellas nd ladies alike,
i have my first icebreaker interview on march 10th 2010, it has taken long a bloody 'nough.
i am chuffed to bits though. i changed my work rota back to part time now so i have enough time to really go at it in the gym and on the road now every 2nd day and gun up as much as possible so that i know i will be fit enough -starting propa tommorrow!!!, started the whey protein as well to give me a boost becos me ma cant afford to buy loads of food, anyways my bmi is 25 which is perfect so no worries. i work at a leisure centre and i got a few personal triainer mates who give me free advice and one guy sorted a free program out for me because i wrote his grilfriend a poem for valentines day! hahah im a soppy koont but it was a good deal LOL
anyone else in same boat as me and have their icebreaker intrvw soonish?

Whey protein not going to help you much with your strength and let alone endurance it with just bulk you up, just eat health don't cost that much just as much as the whey protein tbh.

Panda if that was directed towards as it may not be im not throwing nothing out the pram they said they would give me a date and there taking ages so ive got nothing to apoligise about..

Theres more things involved than just the run and heaves......we want the full package now and NO Recruiter will send you to ADSC now until they think that everything combined will give you the chance to get an A or B grade. The way you dress, attitude, how polite , courtious and how you mix is really scrutenised in this current climate. Team tasks, Icebreaker and how you work as a team player are vital but knowing evverything about TACOS, your jobs inside out and where the Army deploys on exercise, Ops and what we do is a must so do your research....if your EXPERIENCED recruiter does not think your at that standard you WONT be put forward.

ITS UP TO YOU to show all those improvements and put 110% in because if you dont get an A or B grade you might then not get offered a place. Harsh Reality only the better candidates are getting offered the places in this current climate, its not up to the Recruiter, Senior Recruiter or ADSO to prove it its up to the candidate.

Theres a number of Recruiters and soldiers in the training establishments who come on here and when they offer good advice a lot of you just dismiss it but then listen to absolutely useless advice from applicants talking sh*te....well you take advice from who ever you want but I still say the ACIO is your best place and they DONT LIE to you as a few of you have put on here lately either.

Rant over....but please get back on track and stop whining every half hour saying I havent got a date yet have you got one....as the only person who will give you a date when your allocated is J****** in allocations who will let your Recruiter know and they will let you know AS SOON AS THEY HEAR.
