Re: AFC Harrogate Sept 2009 Intake
Hi Suzzie,
My daughter and your son will be working together then at somethime as she too qot the required qualifications and wants to be an aircraft tech.
She went out for a meal with friend to celebrate then having a leaving party on wednesday. We are gong for a family meal on Friday before she departs.
Did oath on fri a lovely experience, make sure you have a camera, it really is a special moment, and so glad i didnt miss it. Felt sorry for some of the other JS who went alone seems a shame no-one there to support them.
Safe journey next week and who knows we might ( yeah right amongst 850 other JS) see you at Harrogate
Angi x :D

We had a leaving party for our future js yesterday afternoon/evening/night/am. loads of his mates and their mums and dads came along, even his RE teacher who he adores (or it could be her 17year old blue eyed blond daughter) came along. We had a good party, i think my wife is putting the photos on facebook.
Do we need to take any documents to the Oath with us? they have his results already.

Re: AFC Harrogate Sept 2009 Intake
Xrock we are having a "documents check" tuesday so I can tell you after that, oath is on wed. ( i am taking everything birth cert, gcse, passport etc just in case.)
Steve92 welcome, as far as I know it is pretty much what you did at selection, read back on here I'm sure others have been told not to panic :D get your mum ( or dad) on here for when your away they may need to know their not alone. my son has kept up his running, sit ups etc but I can't get him to go swimming for love or money

Re: AFC Harrogate Sept 2009 Intake
Hi suzzie, he has his oath tomorrow(tuesday) i will take all his docs down just to be on the safe side. What time are you getting there Sunday? I said to my Son I was going to drop him off at 10am(first oppertunity(only teasing though))He said thats fine! That wind up didn't work!!
Finally got him to do some ironing today, he's a natural just like his dad.
Hi steve92, think its a bit late for any fitness programme to start, just take it as it comes, you got your foot in the door and it will be a slow build up to full fitness.

Suzzie,
We live in Yorkshire so our travelling time is about an hour, I think on the open day it took me 45 mins to get there but got stuck in traffic in Harrogate getting out. lol. :D x
