    Hiya greatteacher,
I have only had one 2 minute phone call from my js, so I know how you are feeling.
Hey, I'm no expert, but we have to remember that they are in REAL TRAINING at AFC harrogate, they are not in school anymore, and part of the training is getting used to being away from home and their family, and unfortunately that means very little contact. I guess that means that when they are home on leave, we should cherish them, I know now that my js will want his fave meal from KFC, especially as they are not allowed junk at the mo.
I have found comfort using this forum, and whilst they are only 16/17, they are learning to be independent which can only be a good thing.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder xxxxxx

    Shazz and Jo
You are probably right - he's just busy and happy My hubby keeps telling me to stop panicking. In my head I just worry over and over "will he finish...will he quit" It sounds like so many have already decided it is not for them

Oh for the luxury of a crystal ball!

    Hi to all,
Yes that is right they can't buy any biscuits, sweets, crisps, etc as they are on a chip ban, that is what we where told last night by our JS,so they are ready for PT next week and so on, he is so looking forward to it, says as the week goes on it gets better, just getting used to it all
We are relieved as he was down last night :( , but tonight was totally different. suppose it will be up and down for a while :( he says they are all supporting one another which is great, and they all seem to get on, :D

Got a call from our js this am about 10am ish. Everything going ok but still a bit bored.
They got issued their ironing (sorry I mean kit) this morning. Hopefully it will be all go from now on. saying that they have a medical this afternoon.
Says they have a good Cpl (false security maybe). He did mention they were getting a trip to Asda today, some of them want to buy boxers as they dont need pants. He will be one of them for sure.

js called last night a little worried as I sensed some thing in his voice, kept asking him if everything is okay, said to txt if he didnt want to say anything over the phone but got nothing. I am hoping it is just a bit of tiredness creaping in, they are doing long days. Got there kit yesterday and had started ironing when we called, initially moaning but later txt to say got it done hated doing the shirts. Does anyone know what they are doing at the weekend I heard it may be paintball?
