Hi Rachel,
I have 2 other boys at home, but the house still feels empty and quiet in a wierd sort of way.
This forum is fab coz atleast I know I am not the only mum with her son away from home.
It feels very humbling to be part of army family

Hi,Yes I am a new mum with a js in 5 platoon in waterloo Company. Have not heard from him yet. Am feeling anxious, cannot wait to hear from him. Only had 2 texts from him so far. :(

Feeling Lost. My son went Harrogate on Sun, and i got a plate out for him tonight!!! Have had txt but really short about 2 words.He is in wellington. 4 platoon.

had a call!!
fire drill today sgt mj shouting :D medicals and kit tomorrow told me about the hair cut he wants as well .
quick call as 4 of them in the loos with a queue!!

hope theres no needles tomorrow tiny little scratch and he acts like his arm is being cut off

won't wait for a call tomorrow as he will be ironing and polishing :D

my daughter is a js in cambrai company 7 platoon. had phone call from her tonite....bit bored but enjoying it. any mums or dads with son / daughter in same platoon?

our son went on sun hes in cambrai company10 phoned 2 nite all had haircut get cammos 2 morrow :D a bit bored with all the admin side of it ,but enjoying it.
