Or if you REALLY want to join the army, sell the horse... or the wife, or both.

Part of my icebreaker was about that time I attacked an elephant whilst blitzed when I was working in Zambia...

Comical but not all that practical. I was suggesting ditching the horse to the missus to help finances a bit for before/when I [hopefully] get in. She simply said that if I got to bugger off and play action man, she could keep the horse for company etc etc... It also means that when she buggers off to see/ride/look at the bloody thing, I get to cabbage out a bit with some decent Xbox and some proper films.

Ah the benefits of joining up as a young single guy. Well not single, but not married.

Anything over £250 a month is scrutinised and 203 special Enlistment form sent to RG Caseworker.....from what you have said you are well over those figures and your recruiter who will of seen this is fully right in the decision.

Be confident, talk to people there you make bare mates quickly, push yourself as much as possible, don't shit yourself on the icebreaker or youll look silly

We didn't even do the press-ups and sit-ups stuff. Didn't do it at ADSC either.

Did pre-ADSC at Altcar and ADSC at Lichfield.
